Sia Raw are a genre-defiant five-piece from the North West, fusing soulful intensity, experimental textures, driving guitars and unfiltered emotion into a sound that moves between vulnerability and explosive alternative rock.
Fronted by 22-year-old vocalist and songwriter Sia, the band formed in January 2025, evolving from her solo work into a full five-piece. The line-up came together organically through a series of connections: Jeff brought Sia together with Jack Wild and Ben Robinson, formerly of Twisted Wheel, before an open mic night saw Ben invite guitarist Isaac Walbrooke into the fold. Alongside bassist Ethan McCaffery, the five quickly discovered a chemistry that felt less like forming a band and more like finding the band.
Their debut single, Pull of You, was released in April 2025 and recorded with producer Seth Leppard, establishing the foundations of their sound. Since then, releases including By Your Side and Motion have continued to expand their catalogue, combining emotionally direct songwriting with dynamic guitars, experimental textures and an increasingly expansive sound.
Built from the grassroots up, Sia Raw have developed their live reputation through venues across the North West and beyond, including Night & Day Caf é, Dublin Castle in Camden, Retro Bar Manchester, Mother Mary's and The Snug in Atherton, alongside numerous headline and support appearances.
2026 has marked a major step forward, with festival appearances at Tramlines, Cheshire Fest, Neck of the Woods, Victorious Festival and Y Not Festival. After being selected as overall winners of Y Not Festival's competition, the band took to the Main Stage, marking a significant milestone in their progression.
Their festival journey has also led to Sia Raw becoming an official Epiphone Guitar Artist, further connecting the band with the guitar-driven world at the heart of their sound. With a growing catalogue, an unmistakable live presence and a reputation built through relentless work on the grassroots circuit, Sia Raw are continuing to take their music to bigger stages while staying rooted in the raw, honest connection that started it all.
